Welcome to Keneseth Beth Israel!
We are the thriving center of Orthodox Judaism in Richmond, facilitating religious observance and personal Jewish growth in an open and non-judgmental place open to Jews along a wide spectrum of observance and background. Every Shabbat, KBI is hopping with inspiring davening, thought provoking sermons and classes, friendly camaraderie, lots and lots of kids, and (often) a hot cholent Kiddush.
At KBI, the generations come together to observe holidays, learn Torah, celebrate life cycle events, socialize, eat (and eat and eat!) and build a Jewish tomorrow, steeped in the wisdom of three millennia of Torah.
Under the dynamic leadership of Rabbi Daniel Yolkut, our shul invites you to come explore the wealth of activities that go on here on a regular basis.
